Big 5 Eco Lodge Tented Accommodation
Wild Ivory is an exclusive Eco Lodge and caters for a maximum of 14 persons. Guests are accommodated in private, scenically positioned and well-appointed luxury tents. The Lodge is located in a quieter area of the Reserve, far away from any other human influence and disturbance.
The entire Lodge is elevated and offers beautiful and uninterrupted 180° panoramic views over the reserve and wooded valley below. The main lodge boasts a comfortable lounge and reception area with a large outside viewing deck and swimming pool overlooking a private water-hole below. The Lodge is completely unfenced and therefore offers our guests a truly wild, in-the-bush experience.
During the day, guests can relax on the loungers around the pool while you may be lucky to see animals moving in to quench their thirst at the waterhole. Then, as evening approaches enjoy a sundowner at the bar, or head out on a game drive in search of the many species which occur within the Reserve.
From the main Lodge follow the pathway to your private luxury tent. All tents are elevated and have their own private patios with loungers allowing guests magnificent views over the reserve below. All rooms are well designed with special shaded-roof structures and shade netted window openings allowing free airflow for natural temperature control. All tents offer large comfortable beds and clean spacious bathrooms with inside baths and secluded outside showers offering uninterrupted bush views.
